There are some types of squirrels which have been spotted in the area surrounding campus, but have not been seen on campus yet. These types of squirrels include:
- Northern Flying Squirrels
- Fox Squirrels
- Eastern Chipmunk
- Least Chipmunk
- Thirteen-Lined Ground Squirrel
