Restoration of the Bison in the Badlands Mural
When we were moving out of the Jones and Ivers buildings for the renovation into the Integrated Science Center (ISC) a small group of faculty stumbled on the mural and thought it would be worth restoring. The mural had been used in a display of dinosaur fossils many years ago. A collaborative effort involving an art student, Luke Wasson, and two art professors, Jessica Matson-Fluto and Dwight Mickelson resulted in the restored mural being installed just outside the Elsie Welter Natural History Museum.
